Keyword | Effect |
---|---|
Bolstered | Multiply the % chance of activation by the amount of opponent's at the table. |
Button | The button is a marker used to indicate who the "dealer" in the current hand is. This is typically the last person to act after the flop giving them the best position. |
Cycle | 1 cycle is 6 hands. |
Pickpocket | If you lose at showdown you have a % chance to win that same % of the pot. If your pickpocket % was 20%, then you would have a 20% chance to win 20% of the pot. Note: All pickpocket %'s are cut by 50% if you are all in. |
Straddle | A straddle bet is a free blind bet made by a player after the posting of the small and big blinds, but before cards are dealt. The straddle will now assume the big blinds role of the last person to act preflop. |
UTG | 'Under the gun' (or 'UTG') refers to the position to the immediate left of the big blind preflop. After the flop, it's the first person that has to act. |
